Vision

Johns Creek is a city built on strong values, and our future depends on keeping those values at the center of every decision. That’s why my vision and platform are guided by a simple but powerful principle: Community First.

As your Councilman, I have been a strong supporter of our community and have always been principle based in my decisions. I have fought for what I believed was right, even when it meant making hard choices that were not always popular. I believe in standing firm when it comes to protecting the values that make Johns Creek exceptional.

Looking ahead, I will continue to put neighbors, families, and our community at the heart of every decision. Each policy will be tested against a clear standard: Does it strengthen our community? Does it protect the reasons we call Johns Creek home? Does it ensure we remain financially responsible? And most importantly, does it preserve Johns Creek for the next generation of citizens?

By working together, we can put Community First and ensure that Johns Creek’s brightest and best days are still ahead.

Community First: Protecting Our Values - Building Our Future

COMMUNITY FIRST

Community First is built on five essential pillars that I believe every city must embrace and fully support. These pillars provide the solid foundation upon which a thriving community can grow, ensuring not only progress but also a stronger sense of unity among citizens. When these fundamentals are in place, communities naturally experience greater stability, long-term sustainability, and improved services that enhance quality of life for everyone. By committing to these principles, we create an environment where families feel secure, businesses can flourish, and future generations are given the opportunity to succeed.

THE FIVE PILLARS

  1. Safety and Security: Strong support for first responders and ensuring a safe environment for all citizens.

  2. Fiscal Responsibility: Careful planning that prioritizes needs over wants while preparing for the future.

  3. Government Transparency: Open decision-making that fosters accountability and maximizes citizen involvement.

  4. Smart Infrastructure: Maintaining and improving roads, bridges, and public systems while leveraging modern technology.

  5. Economic Development: Long-term strategic planning to attract businesses that create jobs and strengthen the tax base.

 Safe & Welcoming Neighborhoods

Johns Creek is already one of the safest cities in the country and that’s something we don’t take for granted. A Community First commitment means keeping that standard high with smart policing, strong neighborhood watch programs, and safe parks and trails. Every parent, grandparent, and young professional should feel proud saying, “This is where I belong.”

Parks, Play & Youth Sports at Home

Families shouldn’t have to drive to Alpharetta for soccer, baseball, or lacrosse. It’s time Johns Creek invested in our own fields, courts, and youth sports facilities. Parks aren’t just green space they’re where kids grow up, friendships form, and generations gather. More local playfields = less traffic, stronger families, and healthier communities.

Jobs Here, Not Just There

The commute to Atlanta is a drain. Community First means making Johns Creek a true hub for opportunity. That means: Attracting small and mid-sized businesses that fit our community. Creating co-working and innovation spaces for remote professionals. Supporting local entrepreneurs so they can thrive right here. When we build a city where careers and businesses can succeed locally, we cut down on traffic, keep talent here, and give our kids a reason to build their future in Johns Creek.

Trails, Greenways & Outdoor Living

The outdoors are one of Johns Creek's greatest strengths.  From the Chattahoochee River to our neighborhood greenways, we are surrounded by natural assets that connect our community. Expanding trails, bike paths, and safe walking routes makes life better for everyone whether it’s children biking to a friend’s house, retirees enjoying an evening walk, or young professionals finding balance away from the screen. A stronger, more connected community begins with the paths that bring us together.

Community Spirit & Local Life

We don’t need expensive projects that raise taxes. What brings people together are simple, meaningful community events: food truck Fridays, cultural festivals, youth tournaments.

Building our future with Young Adults in Johns Creek

Create a focus group including college and high school students to empower the future generation of leaders. This program will encourage long-term investment in the city's future, build internship pipelines with local businesses and government, and encourage civic involvement among young adults people.
